Simon Franks has been my dentist for 8 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else! I had lots of problems when we started, but thanks to excellent and affordable (due to thorough planning) treatment, I'm enjoying healthy and beautiful teeth now. Simon is very professional and caring, who always communities in detail each of your problems and needs along with best treatment options taking into consideration the cost, benefits and priorities. Overall atmosphere in the clinic is very friendly, family like with all staff being very kind, helpful and considerate. When I was coming with my baby daughter they were all happy to look after her during the procedure and accommodate all our needs. I highly recommend Bite Dental to anyone for whom quality and care are important. ~ Janna H

I have been seeing Simon and Jenna at Bite Dental Studios for over 3 years now. When I first saw Simon he identified a potential problem with my front teeth. I have been to other local dentists in the past who have just patched the cause of the problem, only to find out that it wasn't necessary at the time. I regularly went back to Simon and Jenna for checkups and they just monitored the issue for 2.5 years until it was necessary to fix. This gave me the confidence that they genuinely care about my health and wellbeing, rather than doing dental work for the sake of it. With living up to the words on his wall, He really does go above and beyond to make that dreaded dental experience nothing short of a catch up on what's been going on in our lives. If you are considering bite dental as your new dentist, trust me that you will have an experience far better than any dentistry in Qld. Now you're thinking, this review is totally paid... I can assure you I paid for my experience. For 12 months now I have put up with a stain on my teeth that was well overdue to be dealt with. From the initial consultation to the end result the team at Bite were amazing! Nick took so much time to hear my wants and thoroughly explain the process during consultation, I even got a photo to see what the after will look like. I went to 2 other dental practice for initial consultations but neither came close to the professionalism seem at Bite. The staff on reception were so accommodating and went out of their way when it came to organising appointments around tricky schedules. I can't say I have even felt so comfortable sitting for a 6 hour appointment at a dentist but Nick and the team are all about comfort and quality of results. I am beyond happy with my results. I dont usally leave ratings but I need to give credit where credit is due 💯 Simon is a miracle worker 🙏, Simon promised me a beautiful smile and he went above and beyond to deliver that promise. He made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process because we all know how visiting the dentist can be daunting at times. Bite has brought back my confidence and I cant stop smiling at everyone. I am very blessed to have meet Simon and his team I cant see myself going anywhere else. Hand on my heart I would reccomend Simon & the team to anyone looking for a dentist. Great service for adults (I’ve been with Dr Simon for 10 years) and kids (my baby was so well looked after and my almost 3-year old loved her first dentist experience)! High quality work and very friendly team! Patients are treated like family and advice given is always for patients benefits and interest. I came to Australia with lots of dental issues and complications and Dr Simon has been working through them patiently and professionally and at the pace which allows me to afford it financially. Dr Simon loves what he does and never stops his professional development -which must be tough with full time job and young family, so really admirable! As an Autistic person who doesn't like being touched, you can imagine how much I feared going to a new dentist. After my appointment today, I now understand why (at the time of writing this) Bite dental has a 5 star rating. I wear badges on my shirt that explain my condition and everyone I spoke to respected them. Even when I had a small meltdown halfway through, coming back from the x-ray place in the waiting room, their new receptionist quietly bought me some tissues and water and offered to help in anyway which was very comforting. After calming down, it was finally time for my clean and Elaine was very trauma & sensory informed - She gave me a squish toy and explained that at any point I could raise my left hand to signal I had to take a break. Another reason to avoid the dentist is the fees - But they have a pension discount and offer AfterPay! 100/10 coming back! ~ Bear R

What a wonderful experience!!! Honestly, the absolute best dental experience I can ever remember. Julia and her helpers (I've met Danika and Amelia) have been a God-send for me. Previous dental work and my own peculiarities has left my teeth in not the best of condition, not to mention my own state of mind regarding the future for my teeth. HOWEVER...!!! The professional team at Bite Dental have put my fears to rest; they have mapped out a workable plan for me, and have been so professional, courteous and positive! And they are a very happy bunch of people too!! I live over 100 kilometres away from their practice, but it's worth the time and travel.... !! Highly, highly recommend them! ~ Scott S

Friendly caring receptionists and dental nurses, highly skilled and knowledgable dentists - they go above and beyond to ensure your experience at the dentist is excellent and you are well taken care of. Very highly recommend Simon and his team who have nursed me through a severe fear of dental work to sorting out a conglomerate of complex dental issues that had built up as a result of avoiding the dentist for years. I now actually enjoy my trips to the dentist as the team are all so friendly, great conversationalists, know how to gently distract from discomfort and are ever so gentle and such finess with their work - who would have thought a dental visit could be enjoyable? I suffer from severe sleep apnea and have been through the whole CPAP assessment and subsequent treatment without any success. Because of the seriousness of my problem I decided to seek alternate methods of treating this health issue and as luck would have it, I came upon an advertisement for Bite Dental's mouthguard fitting. It is early days yet, but it appears it has reduced my snoring noticeably and I am getting a good night's sleep. With the help of Julia, I will continue this non-invasive therapy, ever hopeful of a good outcome. The whole process was well explained and the fitting procedure was seamless. I have been impressed with the attitude of all I have come in to contact with at Bite Dental and as I travel over 1,000 kilometres for an appointment, it is important that I can get an appointment on any day at short notice. They do this for me with a smile on their face. ~ David W

Just had my tooth cleaning today at Bite Dental Studios, and I can't help but share what a fantastic experience it was! The team there is not only super professional but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. My dental hygienist was thorough and took the time to give me some great tips for keeping my smile in top shape. The clinic itself is modern and clean, making the whole visit really pleasant. Plus, I didn't have to wait forever, which is always a bonus. Shoutout to Bite Dental Studios for making dental care such a positive and easy-going experience. Such a great experience here! The clinic is beautiful, spotless, and welcoming from the moment you walk in (even water on arrival, which was a lovely touch since I'd walked from work and was thirsty as). The receptionist was lovely and Simon was fantastic. I originally wanted fissure seals on my molars, (had these a few times) but Simon took the time to listen to my history, go through my concerns, and explain everything clearly. In the end, he convinced me I didn’t need them — which saved me unnecessary costs and showed was looking out for my health. He was kind, great convo, and never rushed the appointment. 10/10 recommend! ~ Melissa H

I am sooooo lucky to have a dentist like Julia Moldastev and a dental hygienist like Ingrid Rodriguez! It’s the 1st time I have ever had 100% confidence in my dental outcomes - these 2 are a dream team - together their No. 1 goal is the future health of your teeth and gums with an emphasise on preventative treatment. As someone whose childhood dental experiences have left me scarred I found it very hard to trust dentists but both Julia and Ingrid’s calm, confident and reassuring manner put me at ease very quickly. I was referred to Bite Dental for crowns for my 2 front teeth. I could not have dreamed of a higher quality of care (and result!) delivered by Simon and the team. Over the 12 months I was being seen by Simon, he coordinated my evolving treatment plan to tee and was my single point of contact - helping me navigate external referrals, appointments and jargon that made no sense to me. This in and of itself was priceless. He continually met my anxieties with both empathy and humour - and while I'm sure I asked many stupid questions, he never made me feel like it. Excellent service! Super friendly staff that make everything run smoothly, and always with a smile! I have recently finished a small journey with Dr Simon Franks getting a beautiful new smile. I started treatment from Dr Nick, since end of 2021. Dr Nick is very professional, generous and caring. I am an introvert but Dr Nick and the other staff made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and they are all so friendly. I had a crooked teeth most of my life and growing up I used to cover my mouth with my hand whenever I laughed but after meeting Dr Nick, the magic happened! I am able to smile and laugh broadly now. Recieved the best care and service from Dr Ellie Shih, I have always feared the dentist but the procedure went so smooth, they were very reassuring and made it a mission that I was comfortable during the whole process. The reception team were very kind and guided me through any other questions I had, there are also so many payment options and might not be as expensive as most fear, its worth checking out!!! Made an appointment early today with the lovely receptionist Sandra, she was very helpful, and she was able to fit me in for a same day appointment. The dentist Simon was great, very knowledgeable, easy going, and patient. He sorted my wisdom tooth swollen gum issue very quickly and my mouth feels a whole lot better than it did last night and this morning (thank you Simon). The practice is centrally located in the CBD, easy to access, and very modern, the look and feel of the practise is very warm and welcoming. Great value for money, and highly recommended. ~ Jason B

We have known Simon for quite some years and have had the pleasure of his service many years ago. It was just we are base out in the burbs so it wasn’t as easy to get into the city to see him so We just either didn’t see a dentist or one that was local. When our local dentist retired it gave us the opportunity to seek out Simon again. So glad we did because he is amazing, very caring, very gentle and he also caters to the phobias. Dr Julia and Dr Simon have been most accommodating during my visit to them for the past one year or so.... They would endeavour to look into dental issue and do their best to review the condition and propose the solutions in stages from the most conservative/less invasive method to more advanced method... The usual half year hygiene cleaning is done by the hygienist and are done with utmost care and it's probably one of the few clinics that I'd feel really clean after the visit unlike other previous dental clinic that I've attended in the past. Would definitely recommend this dental clinic! ~ Francis T

My husband and I have been attending Bite dental since coming to Brisbane in 2013. It’s the best dentist we have ever experienced and we have experienced a lot of dentists in the past 15 years moving and living in NSW, VIC and outback Queensland. What makes the dentist the best as far as we are concerned is their professional and personnel service. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of the way to accomodate. Dr Julia always follows up with you by phone the next day to check if every thing is ok after an appointment. The Dentists and all the staff are genuine people and all friendly. You are welcomed at every appointment as if your a close friend and part of the family. It’s a great atmosphere and believe it or not, a pleasure to go! I have never experienced a dental appointment to be a pleasure ever, until I found Bite Dental! It’s like going to visit friends for a catch up I’ve even had tea and cake on an occasion !
